Abstract This Regulation specifies the conditions and procedures for obtaining compensation for any loss or damage suffered by the owner or occupant of land as a result of a board of trustees exercising its powers under the Drainage Districts Act. The Surface Rights Board is responsible for receiving applications and conducting hearings, it determines the amount of compensation and makes an order to the board of trustees to execute the payment. The Regulation also specifies which are the additional powers of the Surface Rights Board with reference to this matter (sect. 11).
