Abstract The present Regulation enforces the Animal Health Act, 2009 (S.O. 2009, c 31). The need may arise to order the destruction of an animal or of feed, or animal products like milk, eggs or meat in order to reduce the possible spread of a disease. In such unusual circumstances, the Minister is authorized to provide financial compensation for certain losses stemming from such orders.
