Abstract

The present Rule enacts sections 27 and 54 of the Expropriation Act. In particular, the Regulation lays down provisions relating to compensation payments concerning expropriation proceedings. The text consists of 18 sections as follows: Definitions (1); Court may dispense with this rule (2); This rule prevails in event of a conflict (3); Certain rules do not apply (4); Trial without jury (5); Style of proceeding for compensation actions (6); Commencing action on a claim (7); Service of pleadings (8); Expropriating authority may seek determination (9); Expropriating authority's pleadings (10); Notice required (11); This rule applies to unset board proceedings (12); Previous address for delivery (13); If no Form B filed (14); In-progress board proceedings not concluded by December 31, 2005 (15); Costs for actions brought under this rule (16); Costs for proceedings brought under the Expropriation Procedure Regulation (17); Appraisal costs (18).
