Abstract

This regulation implements the Community Services (Aborigines) Act 1984. Part 2 is dedicated to Aboriginal councils’ membership, Part 3 to matters related to the chairperson of any Aboriginal council. Part 4 concerns the election of councils, Part 5 concerns meetings and Part 6 financial administration. Part 8 is dedicated to Aboriginal courts and Part 9 to the Aboriginal Coordinating Council. The regulation is completed by 17 schedules that provide further for the operation of the Aboriginal bodies regulated in the text.
