Abstract

The Community Integrated Management Plan Implementation Guidelines is a national policy document with a multi-sectoral approach. The objectives of the policy are (I) to enhance awareness of hazard risks from the ridge to reef; (II) to improve climate resilience planning and development; and (III) to better adapt, respond and recover from natural disasters and other extreme events, in order to ensure environmentally, socially and economically sustainable communities.
