Such groups shall be responsible for the managing and protection of community forests established on degraded forest or village waste land (sect. 4.1). The concerned Range Officer shall prepare a revegetation plan for lands for which an application has been granted (sect. 4.2). The Users Group shall be responsible for the implementation of such plans (sect. 4.5). After evaluation of the implementation of revegatation plans, an ownership certificate in respect of the forest may be issued (sects. 5.1 and 5.2). The remaining provisions deal with incentives, benefit sharing and sale of products. Full text English
