The Communiqué enters into force on the day of its publication in the Official Journal.
Abstract

These provisions list out the animal diseases whose outbreak must be without any delay notified to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. Such diseases include the following: rinderpest; foot and mouth disease; bovine tuberculosis; bovine brucellosis; bovine spongiform encephalopathy; sheep and goat pox; sheep and goat brucellosis; blue tongue; African horse sickness; equine anaemia; avian influenza; Newcastle disease; and scrapie.
