Abstract These provisions list out the animal diseases whose outbreak must be without any delay notified to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. Such diseases include the following: rinderpest; foot and mouth disease; bovine tuberculosis; bovine brucellosis; bovine spongiform encephalopathy; sheep and goat pox; sheep and goat brucellosis; blue tongue; African horse sickness; equine anaemia; avian influenza; Newcastle disease; and scrapie.
