Abstract

The present Ordinance lays down provisions implementing land use planning regulations for the common area of Berlin-Brandenburg. The specific purpose of the Ordinance is to ensure the compatibility of land use planning with the requirements of a sustainable development keeping future generations in mind. Projects of land use planning shall be dealt with by the competent authority within 6 months. The text deals with the following issues: principles, purpose, sphere of application, preparation, documentation, and participation of the public, introduction and implementation of the proceedings, duration of validity, duty to report, transitional provisions and entry into force. The text consists of 11 articles.
