Abstract This Order imposes a levy on maize seed sold for sowing. The levy is payable to the Foundation for Arable Research Incorporated. The levy is calculated on the basis of the number of maize seeds a grower buys from a collection agent in the levy year. The levy is intended to fund activities specifically related to maize, including research and development, education and training, and collection and publication of information.
