Abstract

Regulation (EC) No. 1924/2006 provides that health claims made on food are prohibited unless they are authorized by the Commission in accordance with that Regulation and included in a list of permitted claims. Pursuant to Article 13(3) of Regulation (EC) No. 1924/2006, this Regulation sets out health claims that shall be included in the European Union list of permitted claims. These claims concern certain reformulated non-alcoholic acidic drinks, slowly digestible starch and cocoa flavanols. The Annex to Commission Regulation (EU) No. 432/2012 is amended accordingly.
