Abstract

This Regulation amends Regulation (EC) No. 178/2002, namely article 28 which sets up ten scientific panels responsible for providing the scientific opinions of the European Food Safety Authority, each within their own spheres of competence. The amendments refer to the Panel on food additives and flavourings, the Panel on nutrition, novel foods and food allergens, and the Panel on food contact materials and enzymes and processing aids.
