This Regulation shall enter into force on 3 May 2003.
Abstract

Annex IX to Regulation (EC) No. 999/2001, dealing with the importation into the community of live animals, embryos, ova and products of animal origin, is amended in accordance with the Annex to the present Regulation. In particular, Chapter E of Annex IX shall be replaced by the text contained in the Annex hereto. On this basis, ovine and caprine animals imported into the Community after 1 October 2003 are to be subject to the presentation of an animal health certificate.
