The present Regulation came into force on 31 January 2003.
Abstract

In accordance with article 1 of this Regulation, sales packages of fresh fruit and vegetables of a net weight of three kilograms (or less) may contain mixes of different kinds of such products, as long as they meet the requirements established therein. In particular, the products must be of uniform quality, the package shall be appropriately marked and the mix must not mislead the consumer. In addition, the products must belong to the same commercial class (art. 2). Article 3 specifies the details that shall be shown on each package. The Annex attached defines the quality conditions to be fulfilled by each product for which there is no Community marketing standard.
