Abstract

This Regulation amends Regulation (EC) No. 2160/2003 by replacing the text in in Part C of Annex II, which lays down specific requirements concerning breeding flocks of Gallus gallus and breeding turkeys. Furthermore, it replaces the Annex to Commission Regulation (EC) No. 1003/2005 implementing Regulation (EC) No. 2160/2003. The Annex lays down the testing scheme necessary to verify the achievement of the European Community target for the reduction of Salmonella Enteritidis, Salmonella Hadar, Salmonella Infantis, Salmonella Typhimurium and Salmonella Virchow in adult breeding flocks of Gallus gallus.
