The Regulation entered into force on 30 September 2002.
Abstract

A Member State seeking authorization to prohibit the placing on the market of specified forest reproductive material to the end-user shall submit an application to the European Commission in accordance with article 1, which determines the documents, maps and reports that must accompany the application. Further, the Annex attached contains the list of information to be provided by a Member State in support of the above-mentioned application, including climatic and ecological data.
