Abstract

The Commission has adopted the present Recommendation in order to arrange a coordinated Community programme for 2003 to ensure compliance with maximum levels of pesticide residues in and on cereals and certain other products of plant origin. Member States are invited to take and analyse samples for the combinations of products and pesticide residues set out in Annex I. Additionally, the Commission hereby recommends Member States to specifically monitor the combination of nitrofen and wheat with the same sample frequency as outlined in Annex II. The results should be reported to the Commission and should indicate the analytical methods that have been used as well as the levels that have been achieved (art. 2).
