Abstract

Member States are hereby recommended to carry out during 2004 inspections and controls, including, where indicated, taking samples and analysing such samples in laboratories, for the following purposes: (a) assessing the bacteriological safety of cheeses made from raw or thermised milk; (b) assessing the bacteriological safety of fresh refrigerated poultrymeat as regards termophilic Campylobacter; and (c) assessing the bacteriological and toxicological safety of spices. The results and information obtained shall therefore be transmitted to the Commission as set out in the Annex.
