The Regulation entered into force on 4 September 2013.
Abstract

The present Regulation lays down some amendments and adenda to Commission Regulation (EU) No. 206/2010, which concerns the lists of third countries, territories or parts thereof authorized for the introduction into the European Union of certain animals and fresh meat and related veterinary certification requirements. In particular this regulation inserts new articles (1) 3a, which sets forth conditions for the introduction of ungulates intended for an approved body, institute or centre; (2) 3b, which sets forth conditions for the entry and transit of ungulates intended for an approved body, institute or centre through the territory of Member States other than the Member State of destination; (3) 3c, which concerns the list of approved bodies, institutes or centres in third countries, territories and parts thereof.
