This Regulation enters into force on 29 April 2018.
Abstract

This Regulation designates a European Union Reference Centre for Animal Welfare to support horizontal activities of the Commission and of the Member States in relation to the application of the rules laying down welfare requirements for animals according to Regulation (EU) 2017/625.The designation shall be reviewed every 5 years from the day of application of this Regulation.
