This Regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.

Abstract

This Regulation sets out the programme of controls to be carried out by Commission experts in the Member States in areas covered by Regulation (EU) 2017/625 for the period 2021-2025. The areas of the programme of controls include food and food safety; feed and feed safety; animal health; animal welfare; plant health; placing on the market and use of plant protection products and the sustainable use of pesticides; food quality; entry into the Union of animals and goods from third countries; AMR; and general aspects within the agri-food chain.
