This Decision shall apply from 1 February 2024.
Abstract

This Decision designates the consortium led by the University of Crete (Greece), and also composed of the Biology Centre of the Czech Academy of Sciences, Institute of Parasitology (Czechia) and the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (Spain) as the European Union reference centre for the welfare of aquatic animals. The consortium will be responsible for the supporting tasks included in the European Union reference centre’s annual or multiannual work programme. This work programme is to be established in accordance with the requirements of Article 16 of Regulation (EU) 2021/690.
