Abstract

The present Decision extends up to 31 December 2015 the period during which Ireland, Finland, Sweden and the United Kingdom may require that consignments of aquaculture animals, introduced into an area subject to an eradication programme, comply with the requirements prescribed with respect to the diseases covered by that eradication programme. Annex I to Decision 2010/221/EU is replaced by the text in the Annex to the present Decision. This Annex concerns Member States and areas regarded as being free of diseases, and approved to take national measures to prevent the introduction of those diseases in accordance with article 43(2) of Directive 2006/88/EC.
