This Directive came into force on 29 January 2003.
Abstract

The present Directive amends Directive 76/769/EEC laying down restrictions on the use and marketing within the Community of certain dangerous substances. In particular, point 20 of Annex I to Directive 76/769/EEC is replaced by the text contained in the Annex to this Directive, which concerns with detail arsenic compounds. Such substances may not be used for the purposes referred to therein unless certain conditions and requirements are fulfilled.
