Abstract

This Decision establishes a specific control and inspection programme in order to ensure the harmonized implementation of the multi-annual recovery plan set up by Regulation (EC) No. 1559/2007 for bluefin tuna in the Eastern Atlantic and the Mediterranean. This programme applies from 1 April to 31 December 2008. The Decision also sets out the principles to be taken into account by Member States when adopting their national programmes.
