Abstract

This Decision establishes rules concerning the animals as well as products of animal and plant origin to be subjected to veterinary checks at border inspection posts upon introduction into the European Community, in compliance with Directive 91/496/EC and Directive 97/78/EC. Annex I lays down the list of animals and products covered by these provisions.
