Abstract

The Commission has hereby established particular conditions and rules governing the importation into the Community of fishery products originating in French Polynesia. Firstly, article 1 designates the competent authority in French Polynesia for the purposes of verifying and certifying compliance of fishery products with the requirements of Directive 91/493/EEC. Each consignment is to be accompanied by a health certificate issued in conformity with the specimen contained in Annex I. The fishery products shall come from approved establishments, factory vessels, or cold stores, or from registered freezer vessels listed in Annex II. Article 5 regards packaging.
