Firstly, article 1 identifies the competent authority in Slovakia for the purposes of verifying and certifying compliance with the requirements laid down in Directive 91/493/EEC. Further requirements are prescribed by articles 3 to 5 hereto. In particular, fishery products shall be live fish produced by freshwater aquaculture, intended for human consumption and belonging to one of the species referred to in article 3 (1). Each consignment is to be accompanied by a health certificate to be completed in accordance with the model contained in Annex I. Moreover, the products shall come from approved establishments listed in Annex II. Article 5 concerns packaging.
