Abstract

The present Decision lays down some amendments to Decisions 2003/70/EC and 2003/71/EC relating to imports of live gametes of fish belonging to the family Salmonidae from Norway and Faeroe Islands respectively. As regards Decision 2003/70/EC, new restrictions are applied on the imports of the above-mentioned live gametes: article 1 (3) is replaced by the text contained in article 1 (1) hereto. In accordance with this new provision, Member States shall authorize the import of live gametes of fish belonging to the family Salmonidae originating in Norway subject to the consignments being accompanied by a certificate in conformity with the model laid down in Annex I. On the other side, Annex I of that Decision is entirely replaced by the text in Annex I hereto.
