Abstract

The present Ordinance applies to the recovery and the disposal 1. of municipal wastes of commercial origin, 2. of the wastes listed in Section 8 (construction and demolition wastes) and 3. of other wastes listed in the Annex. It also applies to producers and holders of municipal wastes of commercial origin, of construction and demolition wastes and of other wastes, which are listed in the Annex and to the operators of pre-treatment facilities in which mixed municipal wastes of commercial origin, construction and demolition wastes. The text consists of Sections as follows: Scope (1); Definitions (2); Separation of fractions of municipal wastes of commercial origin (3); Separation of mixed municipal wastes of commercial origin prior to pretreatment (4); Requirements for pre-treatment facilities (5); Separation of mixed municipal wastes of commercial origin that is Recovered (6); Separation of municipal wastes of commercial origin that is not recovered (7); Separation and requirements regarding the pre-treatment of construction and demolition wastes (8); Control of pre-treatment facilities (9); Facility log-book (10); Offences (11); Entry into force (12). One Annex is enclosed.
