The Regulations specify that the activity of those centres is permitted only through a license issued under Section 39 of the Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Act. All the centres for collecting, holding and supplying shrimp brooders shall be established in close proximity to the beach enabling to transport shrimp brooders from sea within a short period. All those centres shall be operated in accordance with the standards of transporting brooder shrimps of the Authority specified in Annex I. The shrimp brooders shall be collected from the sea areas specified by the Authority in the Aquaculture Management License.
