Abstract

This Subchapter contains rules relative to the commercial harvesting and taking for own use of coconut crabs. They prohibit the taking of crabs smaller than a prescribed size and those that carry eggs. The Regulations prohibit the sale of locally-caught coconut crabs in excess of a prescribed annual number. Coconut crabs must be kept whole until cooked or frozen.
