For the purpose of the Regulation "pedigreed seed" means seed that is foundation, registered and certified seed within the meaning of the Seeds Act (Canada). Section 2 establishes that the following kinds, grades, and qualities of coarse grain are excluded from the operation of the Act: a) oats and barley that is pedigreed seed and is sealed as provided in the Seeds Act (Canada); b) any coarse grain purchased by any person from the Canadian Wheat Board.
