Abstract

The present Regulation enacts the Coarse Grain Marketing Control Act. For the purpose of the Regulation "pedigreed seed" means seed that is foundation, registered and certified seed within the meaning of the Seeds Act (Canada). Section 2 establishes that the following kinds, grades, and qualities of coarse grain are excluded from the operation of the Act: a) oats and barley that is pedigreed seed and is sealed as provided in the Seeds Act (Canada); b) any coarse grain purchased by any person from the Canadian Wheat Board.
