Entry into force is based on Article 11 of the Law.
Abstract

The Law is drafted for gradual and constant reduce and termination of use of coal in generating electricity power and energy system of Germany and to provide climate friendly, inexpensive and efficient supply of energy to general public. The Law is drafted for the structural policy support of the federal government for the regions according to Chapter 2 of the Coal Regions Investment Law of August 2020. The Law provides for target dates and target levels and tender procedures. The Law is drafted in 11 Articles that each Article refers to restructuring in one of the energy system as follow: The Law on the reduction and termination of coal power generation (1); Amendments of the greenhouse gas emissions trading Law (2); Amendment of the income tax Law (3); Amendment of the energy industry Law (4);Amendment of the combined heat and power Law fee ordinance (5); Amendment of the renewable energy sources Law (6); Amendment of the combined heat and power Law (7); Amendment of the CHP ordinance template (8); Amendment of the sixth book of the social code (9); Reservation of state aid (10); Entry into force (11).
