Abstract

The purposes of this Act, consisting of seven Parts completed by two Schedules, is: to provide for the application of a national law relating to the formation, registration and operation of co-operatives. This Act is divided as follows: Part 2: Application of Co-Operatives National Law and Co-Operatives National Regulations; Part 3: Some Matters Referred to in Co-Operatives National Law (Victoria); Part 4: Registrar of Co-Operatives; Part 5: General (Orders and other instruments published in Gazette, etc.); Part 6: Transitional and Savings Provisions (Regulations dealing with transitional matters). Schedules deal with Designated Instrument and Consequential Amendments.
