Abstract The present Strategy builds on Norway's follow-up of the Paris Agreement and seeks to lay the foundation for reinforced Norwegian efforts to enable climate-vulnerable societies to adapt to a changing climate. It is directed towards countries receiving Norwegian development assistance, with a special focus on partner countries and Sub-Saharan Africa, and identifies priorities for action and measures to strengthen climate adaptation, including prevention of climate-related disasters and fight against hunger.
