Abstract This Climate Change Gender Action Plan is a nationwide sectoral document aiming at ensuring that gender equality is mainstreamed into Liberia’s climate change policies, programs and interventions so that both men and women have equal opportunities to implement and benefit from mitigation and adaptation initiatives in combating climate change and positively impact on the outcome of “Liberia Rising 2030”. Six priority sectors have been identified as main areas of interventions, they are (i) agriculture and food security; (ii) coasts; (iii) forestry and REDD; (iv) health; (v) water and sanitation; and (vi) energy. Each priority sector includes a plan of Action with clear objectives, actions, indicators and responsible institutions. Full text English Website portals.iucn.org
