Abstract These Regulations, consisting of 28 sections and completed by seven Schedules, pursuant to sections 163, 167, and 168 of the Climate Change Response Act 2002, prescribe the forestry fees and charges payable to the EPA in respect of the matters to which they relate. In particular, they establish the following matters: Rotation periods for the purposes of section 186F(a) of the Act; Calculation of carbon stock; Assignment of forest class; etc. Schedules list the following aspects: Regions; Fees and charges payable for applications and other matters relating to post-1989 forest land; Forms; Tables of carbon stock per hectare for pre-1990 forest land; Geospatial mapping information that must be submitted to EPA with specified documents; Tables of carbon stock per hectare for post-1989 forest land; and Forest species that are tree weeds.
