Abstract The present Act lays down the framework conditions for present and future climate change action in Denmark. It sets a target to reduce Denmark’s emissions by 70 percent in 2030 compared to 1990, thereby making Denmark's reduction targets legally binding. Climate neutrality should be reach by 2050 at the latest.
