For this purpose the Climate and Energy Fund is established with its headquarters in Vienna. The particular tasks of this Fund is to give financial support to research in sustainable energy technologies and climate conditions; to promote projects in the transportation of persons and in mobility in general; to promote environment and climate-friendly projects.
