Abstract The purpose of the present Act is to protect existing and future sources of drinking water. Each source protection authority shall establish a drinking water source protection committee for the authority’s source protection area. These committees shall prepare terms of reference for the preparation under this Act of an assessment report and source protection plan for the source protection area.
