Among others, the Director may require the person to whom the control order is issued to refrain from emitting an air contaminant permanently, for a specified period, during certain times; to install or replace any equipment designed to control or eliminate the emission of an air contaminant; to measure the concentration of an air contaminant in the ambient air or to carry out studies or investigations in response to a specific air pollution problem (sect 15).
