Abstract

These Regulation make provision for the registration and certification of citrus cultivation. There shall be established Jamaica Citrus Protection Agency under regulation 3. The Agency shall be responsible for the implementation of a mandatory citrus certification program as set out in these Regulations. Persons who intend to cultivate or sell citrus trees shall apply to the Agency for registration of the nursery (reg. 5). If requirements specified in comma (4) of regulation 5 are met the Agency
