Abstract

This Act concerns the citrus industry and the marketing of citrus fruit. The Act provides for the establishment and operation of the Citrus Board of South Australia (Part 2 Div. 1) and of the Citrus Board Selection Committee (Part 2 Div. 2), it regulates registration of growers, packers, processors, wholesalers and retailers of citrus fruits (Part 3), it provides for the issuing of marketing orders (Part 4) and contains provisions on inspections (sect. 33) and offences and penalties (sect. 37).
