Abstract

In order to implement the food safety law and effectively strengthen the leadership of food safety work, the food safety committee of the State Council was established as a high-level coordinating body for food safety work of the State Council. Main responsibilities of the food safety committee of the State Council include: to analyze the food safety situation, research, coordinate and guide food safety work; propose major policies and measures for food safety supervision; urge the implementation of food safety supervision responsibilities.
