Abstract The purpose of this Circular is to protect the public health. This Circular is composed of 5 articles. All slaughterhouses shall abide by the sanitary rules, requirements and conditions for slaughtering and preparation of poultry for human consumption (art. 1). All waste, rests and residues of poultry slaughterhouses shall be gathered in hermitically sealed sacs of nylon to be buried in a sanitary and right method (art. 2). The slaughtering and processing of chickens shall be carried out in front of the consumer (art. 3). Article 4 entrusts the Regional Departments of the Ministry of Agriculture in cooperation with the local authorities (mayors, prefects, administrative officers) to implement this Circular.
