Circular No. 05/2000/TT-BTS guiding the implementation of the government Resolution No. 09/2000/NQ-CP on a number of policies for economic restructuring and consumption of agricultural products.

This Circular of Ministry of Aquatic Resources provides orientations" for the restructuring of the "aquatic economy" (not defined) in accordance with requirements of the domestic and foreign markets, social policy and the management of environmental aspects of development. It specifies a series of measures and projects for the development of the aquatic economy according to geographic areas and economic activities including fish breeding in marine, brackish and freshwater, coastal and offshore fishing, and marketing and processing of aquatic products.
