Abstract This Chief Executive Order, consisting of 5 articles and 3 Annexes, provides a detailed list and classification of food additives and specifies the requirements to be satisfied in order to perform import and export activity. Annex 1 provides a detailed Table with the names of the food stuff for human consumption. Annex 2 provides a Table for import and export requirements and their classification criteria. Annex 3 provides a detailed Table listing sanitary and phytosanitary controls to be carried out on selected imported goods, according to article 9 of Law No. 7/2003.
