Abstract

This Chapter prescribes requirements that shall apply to all tanks, both above and below ground, which receive, store or distribute petroleum products or other chemicals. Excluded from the application sphere of this Chapter are water tanks, septic tanks, publicly owned treatment works and flow through process tanks. The Chapter specifies installation standards for new underground and above ground storage tanks and provides for the monitoring of tank integrity. Permits for installation, etc. shall be obtained for the Environmental Quality Commission.
