The Chapter specifies standards with regard to residues and other qualities of water supplied by public water systems. It also specifies methods for the analysis and monitoring of foreign substances in water. The Chapter further provides for a variety of matters relative to safe drinking water such as record keeping, surveys, inventory of water systems, emergency plans and public hearings.
