Abstract

This Chapter prohibits the use any bait fish for commercial fishing operations harvested or taken in waters within Pohnpei State by foreigners without the prior written consent of the Pohnpei Economic Development Authority. “Bait fish” means any type of marine animal that may be used as bait in commercial fishing operations. The Pohnpei Economic Development Authority is the successor to the Ponape District Fishing Authority.
